A Moment of Silence for the World's Oldest Dog

I just heard the sad news today about Chanel, a 21 year old dachshund, newly named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the World' Oldest Dog recently passed away on Monday, August 31st. Chanel took her last breath in her home in Port Jefferson, NY, right in our backyard on Long Island. I know that I heard the news a week late, but if you're reading this, please take a brief moment of silence for this adorable dachshund who gives us all hope that our own furry pals can live this long. It is unbearable to think of the day that we will need to say "Good bye" to our best friends, but if Bella can live as long as Chanel, I will feel blessed.

Rest in Peace Chanel. Our hearts go out to you and your family. XOXO

Sad : ( But inspiring that a dog can live that long. Yes, may each of our furbabies have a long and enjoyable life!
