USE YOUR PET AS A STRESS BALL....

Well, not literally, but they can be a great way to turn around a bad mood. Studies have shown that your pets companionship can help relieve stress. Maybe this is because they love us no matter what and unlike people, they don't judge us. Hate your boss? Tell your pet, at least you know they wont tell. Haha You know at some point or another you talk to your pet, I talk to mine all the time! Believe it or not, this helps relieve stress too. Our cat Minxie seems to know when I'm not feeling well or if I'm grumpy. When she senses it, she comes right up and snuggles next to me and for a time it make me forget about what's bugging me! Your pet can also provide some comic relief, how many times have you cracked up because your pet did something funny? As if this wasn't reason enough to be a proud pet owner, they can also help you increase your level of exercise. I always wanted to strap a harness on our cat and take her for a walk, but Minxie wouldn't have that so I like to have a catch with her in the house-yes she actually catches the ball, its too cute!! If you have a dog, running around your backyard or taking them for a walk is a great way to get a workout. Do you have high blood pressure? No problem, just petting your little guy helps bring down your heart rate and blood pressure!!

When you get home from work or school today, I want you to put your feet up, cuddle with your baby and forget about the stresses of your day!!
